Becky Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for paid subscriptions to Becky ("Becky Pro" or the "Service"), operated by Dear Lady Ann LLC ("Becky", "we", "us").

Because Becky is a recurring digital subscription that delivers value immediately on purchase, all payments are generally final. Where refunds are available, the rules differ depending on the platform you bought through - Apple, Google, or the web - because each platform processes its own payments and enforces its own refund rules.

Please read the section that applies to your purchase. If you're unsure where you bought your subscription, check the receipt email you received at the time of purchase or contact us at becky@dearladyann.com.

1. Purchases Are Final

All purchases of Becky Pro subscriptions are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or as expressly stated in this Policy.

This includes - but is not limited to - situations where:

  • You no longer wish to use the Service
  • You did not use the Service during the billing period
  • You forgot to cancel before a renewal
  • You purchased the wrong subscription length
  • You disagree with our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines after purchasing
  • Your account was suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms or Community Guidelines

Partial-period refunds are not provided when you cancel mid-cycle. You retain access to Becky Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.

2. iOS - Apple App Store

If you purchased your Becky Pro subscription through the Apple App Store, Apple processes the payment and owns the refund decision. We are unable to issue refunds directly for App Store purchases.

To request a refund from Apple:

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase
  3. Find your Becky purchase and select "Request a Refund"
  4. Choose a reason and submit

Apple typically reviews refund requests within 48 hours. Their decision is final. Apple's refund terms are available in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Android - Google Play

If you purchased through Google Play, Google processes the payment and owns the refund decision. We are unable to issue refunds directly for Google Play purchases.

Google offers automatic refunds for subscription purchases when requested within 48 hours of the original transaction. After 48 hours, refunds are at Google's discretion.

To request a refund from Google Play:

  1. Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
  2. Find your Becky subscription
  3. Follow Google's in-app refund flow, or submit a request via Google Play support

Google's refund policies are available in the Google Play Help Center.

4. Web - Card Payments

If you purchased Becky Pro through our website, the transaction is processed by our payment processor on behalf of Dear Lady Ann LLC. We are the merchant of record for web purchases and handle billing and refunds directly.

Outside the legally protected withdrawal periods described in Section 5, web purchases are non-refundable for the reasons listed in Section 1.

To request a refund for a web purchase:

  1. Email becky@dearladyann.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include the email address used for purchase and the date of the transaction
  3. Briefly describe the reason for the request

We review each request individually. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. EU / UK Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your subscription contract within 14 calendar days of the purchase date, without giving any reason.

Important: by starting to use Becky Pro features immediately after purchase, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the digital content has been supplied. If you used any Becky Pro feature within the 14-day window, your right of withdrawal does not apply.

If you have not used any Pro feature and wish to exercise this right, contact us at becky@dearladyann.com within 14 days of purchase. We will confirm receipt and process the refund within 14 days of confirmation, to the original payment method.

6. Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not provide a refund for the current billing period. You retain Pro access until the end of that period.

How to cancel, by platform:

  • iOS: Settings - [your name] - Subscriptions - Becky - Cancel
  • Android: Google Play - Profile - Payments & subscriptions - Subscriptions - Becky - Cancel
  • Web: Email becky@dearladyann.com with the subject "Cancel Subscription", or manage your subscription in the Becky web app under Settings.

7. Duplicate Charges & Processor Errors

If you were charged twice for the same subscription period, or if you believe there is a technical or processing error, contact us at becky@dearladyann.com within 60 days of the transaction. Include your receipt(s) and a description of the issue.

Verified duplicate charges and processor errors will be refunded in full, regardless of platform.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. In most cases, we can resolve disputes directly and more quickly than the chargeback process.

Chargebacks filed without first contacting our support team, or filed in bad faith, may result in immediate suspension or termination of your Becky account and permanent removal from our platform.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Update" date. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
